Situated on the southeast coast of Bali in the fishing village of Ketewel, Bayu Gita Residence is a charming, three-bedroom holiday rental which not only ensures you have a memorable vacation but also provides access to nearby black-sand Pabean beach. Featuring architecture and interiors that speaks to culture and traditional practices of Bali, the villa is quintessentially a Balinese home with modern conveniences. You have access to a private swimming pool and the open-plan layout of the living area allows a constant view of the scenery.
Found on the upper level, the master bedroom is spectacular for its sliding glass doors that offer a panoramic view of the ocean along with its tropical vegetation and the horizon. Featuring a king-sized, canopied bed, the room is air-conditioned along with an ambiance that speaks to your soul and promises a comfortable stay. The en-suite bathroom is well-equipped with a shower and dual vanity.
The villa houses two additional bedrooms that are equally spacious and are found on the ground level beside the garden. The bedrooms are furnished with queen beds that guarantee a good night’s rest, ample wardrobe space, air-conditioning and other amenities. The en-suite bathrooms are idyllic for they have outdoor showers for a truly tropical experience.
An 11-metre swimming pool is the dominant feature of the gardens at Bayu Gita Residence. But the one thing that may be able to upstage it is the garden bale which not only houses a parrot-green daybed but also a Jacuzzi for a refreshing dip and relaxation of the muscles. The pool is flanked by a pool deck which has sun chairs for lounging on after swimming laps or splashing around in the swimming pool. Guests can choose to dine outdoors on the alfresco dining area in the fresh air under the open skies for a more memorable experience.
Fold the glass doors back to reveal the spacious and traditionally designed living area at Bayu Gita Residence. Done up in warm neutral tones that accentuate the abundant nature outdoors, the living area is a relaxing place where everyone can spend some time after a long day out and about. Enjoy a glass of wine while lounging on the comfortable sofas while the fresh tropical breeze airs out the room. The walls are adorned with traditional tapestries all under a high-soaring ceiling made out of timber.
The entire villa has been designed using natural materials that have been sourced locally for an eco-friendly and sustainable design. The refreshing setup is heightened due to luscious flora and you can kick back with some appetizing delicacies prepared for you by the house chef (upon request) in the modern kitchen that even has a breakfast bar. Once you’re done for the day, the villa’s media room invites you for an impromptu movie night to lull you to a sound, dreamless sleep.
The villa is fully-staffed and it is part of Bayu Gita Estate so you have a concierge and round the clock help for anything you may need. From housekeeping to security, everything is well looked after. If you wish to explore the nearby areas, the villa even provides a car and driver for an extra cost.
Located in the village of Ketewel, the villa is close to Pabean beach but also nearby places in Bali. A short drive will take you to Sanur, with its serene landscape, or to the cultural hub of Ubud with yoga barns, health cafes, etc. If you’re a surf lover, the beach that runs between Sanur and Ketewel is known as Surfer’s Heaven, so you’re definitely in for a treat.
