Villa Karmagali

There are seven bedrooms at Villa Karmagali, all of which are situated around the 50-foot swimming pool in the heart of the villa. Each bedroom has a unique Balinese theme in its decor and architecture and furnished with locally sourced handcrafted wood furniture to maximize your comfort.

The first pavilion houses 3 bedrooms called Naga, Timor, and Frangipani owing to their respective themes. These bedrooms are furnished with king sized beds and have access to the swimming pool via glass-sliding doors. The corridors outside are dotted with tropical palms and other indigenous plant species that add to the freshness of Villa Karmagali. The en-suite bathrooms have rain showers, wardrobe spaces, and bathtubs to aid your relaxation and keep you cool even in the tropical weather of Sanur.

The second pavilion constitutes two bedrooms -- Rama and Sita, and Garud, aptly named in accordance with their decor themes. You can find Balinese artifacts dotting the rooms and ceramic artwork lining the walls. The en-suite bathrooms have wardrobe spaces, rain showers, and sunken tubs.

The third pavilion is designed as a bungalow with two bedrooms located on either side of the main living area and dining area. The bedrooms here are alike in their designs and have en-suite bathrooms where you can even indulge yourself in spa treatments and massages upon request.

The well-manicured lawns and gardens at Villa Karmagali are a sight to leave you in awe of the wonders of nature. With sounds of birds and bees flying around and the aroma of the fresh flowers in full bloom, you will surely feel twice as relaxed and at peace.

The swimming pool is located right in the middle of the villa and is fifty feet long and accessible from all the bedrooms. It has crystal clear waters which invite you to jump right in and feel rejuvenated as you cool off in the tropical heat. The deck by the pool is lined with cushioned sun-beds as well as loungers that provide you with an opportunity to not just sunbathe but catch a quick nap as well.

The indoor areas at Villa Karmagali consist of the main living area and the dining area. The main living area is a Balinese culture trip in itself. With handcrafted furniture made from the wood sourced from in and around Sanur, intricate south-east Asian paintings, ceramic wall installations, statement lamps and chandeliers -- the living area is all things interesting. Perfect for spending quality time together with friends and family, or just lounging during the day seeking shade from the Sun, or catching up on some reading.

The dining area sits just beside the lounge, centred around a beautifully handcrafted wooden table that comfortably seats up to eight guests. It’s an inviting spot for sharing meals, lingering over long conversations, and enjoying relaxed moments with family and friends in a warm and elegant setting.

The villa’s boutique hotel concept offers a high level of personalized care, ensuring guests feel well attended to throughout their stay. The villa manager is available to assist with any arrangements. While the kitchen is reserved for staff, you can relax as the chef prepares freshly made cuisine with Asian and French influences. The team is also happy to help arrange transportation or rentals should guests wish to explore the area.
