In an ideal location in the heart of Seminyak, Villa Makasih is an intimate 2-bedroom villa that offers you comfort and privacy and along with many happy and good vibes that Bali has to offer. The design of the villa is quite simple, with only two main pavilions, a swimming pool and a beautiful large gazebo made with ornate wood, deep red cushions and a thatched room making the perfect daybed for the guests. At night, the villa lights up with beautiful lamps hung outside the room, making stunning light patterns on the walls that reflect on the swimming pool in the middle. The tropical plant beds that line the walls and separates the swimming pool from the living pavilions bring the entire exterior together, creating a perfect ambiance for everyone.
The two deluxe bedrooms in the villa have been decorated in a very quirky and artistic way. The wooden floor blends beautifully to the large king-sized bed and the wood furniture and appointments in the room. The main wall of the bedroom suit looks like a piece of modern art with the use of dream catcher designs, and a pole that goes across the room over the bed with lamps hanging down that cast warm and pleasant light to the room.
Both rooms open to the garden of the villa through large sliding glass doors. The en-suite bathrooms have a glass ceiling in one corner, flooding the interiors with natural light, and giving the feel or an outdoor shower. The bedrooms are simple and yet incredibly artistic and peaceful at the same time.
The garden and the swimming pool of Villa Makasih are truly one of a kind. The maximum use of space in the design to create a comfortable and beautiful holiday residence is admirable. You can step on to the garden right from the bedroom and take a refreshing dip in the pool at any time of the day. There is a cushioned couch placed in the garden for when you need a little extra comfort, and the shaded gazebo next to the swimming pool is another relaxing spot you can hang out in the afternoon or have a little siesta after a nice swim. All the remaining spaces in the garden are manicured to perfection with plenty of neatly planted tropical flora.
There is a separate pavilion for the indoor living areas of the villa, giving the bedrooms and extra level of privacy. The living area consists of a simple dining table, a modern kitchen with all the useful appliances should you wish to cook your own meals and a comfortable seating area for the guests to hang out and relax. The villa is a beautiful fusion of rustic and chic vibes, perfectly balanced with the use of traditional and modern elements. The wooden roof, the floor and many wooden furniture and decorations you see all around the indoor living space of the villa makes for a pleasant and consistent theme that is pleasing to the eye wherever you go within the property.
The 4-person staff in the villa are extremely friendly and are truly dedicated to going that extra mile to make sure you have a great time at the villa. You can personally request if you need any special services such as a massage or getting your laundry done, which the staff will be happy to arrange for you.
Villa Makasih is located at one of the best places to treat your inner foodie in Seminyak. You can rent a scooter or have a short drive to Mejekawi - an Asian fusion restaurant to enjoy some delicious food. If you are looking for something more local and affordable, Warung Nia is a highly rated local restaurant that you should not miss. For a change of scene and activity, you can go horse riding, and go surfing at Seminyak Beach if you love riding the tropical waves.
