This beautifully exotic and vibrant villa is surely not yet another villa in Seminyak, but a completely joyful experience in and of itself. It has all the regular features of a villa including a swimming pool, but every single aspect of this villa has a delightful twist to it include the swimming pool which can be almost mistaken for a fully natural pond due to its shape and design. Large modern artwork on the walls makes a pleasant balance with the traditional furniture and the wooden floor with an elevated elegance added from the pure white bedding and recurring white touches on many of the villa surfaces. It is spacious enough for a large family, fun enough for young travelers, safe enough for children and romantic enough for couples and honeymooners.
Every bedroom in Villa Metisse is its own deluxe suite with a cozy private living space. There are exquisite paintings adorning the walls behind the bed, and the large glass sliding doors open up to the beautiful view of the garden. Three of the rooms have queen beds and one bedroom has 2 single beds that can be combined to make a double bed if needed. All the beds have great quality mattresses and crisp white bedding. The housekeeping staff work daily to keep the bedrooms looking bright, white and beautiful at all times. The bathroom space is similar to the bedrooms when it comes to the decorating theme, using many pure white elements and wooden furniture, creating a soothing atmosphere.
The 8m swimming pool, as mentioned earlier, resemble a natural pond due to its deep turquoise color, the bamboo plants that surround it and also the way it goes under the pool deck where there are sunbeds, a hammock and a beautifully crafted umbrella. Due to being almost surrounded by water and plants, the pool deck is very cool and refreshing even at the hottest parts of the day under a glaring tropical sun. Everything about the garden in Villa Metisse is clean, neat and relaxing to both the eyes and the mind.
The living space in Villa Metisse is also quite bright and cheerful similar to the other parts of the property. The dining area consist of a wooden table surrounded with wooden chairs that has a white detail in them to blend in with the pure white theme of the villa. Kitchen surfaces are clean and beautiful, with all the needed modern kitchen appliances to make a nice meal for yourself. The sitting area consist of multiple cozy couches where the guests can simply hangout and enjoy the view of the garden and the swimming pool.
Villa Metisse has a dedicated of staff of 3, all of whom are very much communicative and friendly. If you want some help in exploring Seminyak, they will happily give you tips and hacks on navigating the area like a local and get the best prices. They also handle your car rentals, saving you the hassle of bargaining with the local cabs.
This charming property places you near the hottest dining strip in all of Seminyak, nearby many highly rated restaurants. The place that is most popular for amazing steak dishes is The Plantation Grill. If you are looking for a more authentic Balinese experience, Warung Nia is surely the place to go. Apart from the Seminyak Beach, there a plenty other beaches which are less crowded including Echo beach that is popular for the seascape and sunsets, and Double Six Beach for its amazing white sands.
