Villa Sampan

Two air-conditioned bedrooms that sleep up to four guests are set on the opposite ends of the living pavilion. Large sliding doors open up to the guest rooms offering direct access to the swimming pool and keep it bright and light-flooded. Inside the rooms, you will find elegant dark wooden flooring with matching furniture, sheltered by a pavilion roof. The king-sized beds have a beautiful white canopy dangling from the ceiling, protecting you from mosquitos and turquoise bed sheets that seem to reflect the color of the swimming pool.

Each room is equipped with a desk, spacious dressing area and has traditional Indonesian décor adorning the space. Large wooden doors lead the way to the en-suite bathrooms with one featuring a stone-carved bathtub in an open setting, and the other one being indoors, featuring a shower area. The well-appointed furniture, the smooth light and tastefully selected décor make up two gorgeous rooms that offer a peaceful space to retreat and have a good night sleep.

With palm trees and thick tropical plants framing the garden, the pool area of Villa Sampan is a peaceful haven. The 25 square meter swimming pool features beautiful turquoise waters and a rounded shape that seems to seamlessly merge with its lush surroundings. The entrance of the pool has a shallow flooded platform where you can lay down in the shade of the palm trees and enjoy the refreshing cold of the water on your body. Alternatively, sit back on one of the sun loungers, read a good book or simply enjoy the moment. After all, it’s your well-deserved holiday, isn’t it? Set at the corner of the garden, you will find an additional daybed that is perfect for doing some morning meditation or taking a nap.

A couple of stairs lead to the sunken living area that impresses with its rustic yet stylish design. You will find a long L-shaped sofa with colorful cushions and matching stools surrounding a coffee table. A screen and projector transform the living room into a home theatre, perfect for cozy movie nights with your loved ones. The highlight of this room is the pool window that lets you peek into the water of the swimming pool and has an aquarium look to it!

Set on a higher podium, sits a dining table with two benches. An additional higher bar table with stools separates the living space from the dining area. A fully equipped kitchen that offers all appliances needed for cooking is installed beside the dining table. The furniture in the living and dining space are made from recycled wood, featuring colorful surfaces. The semi-open high-ceiling roof and the different floor levels give the living area a lofty appearance.

The lovely ladies that will assist you during your stay at Villa Sampan will give you a warm welcome and make sure that you have everything you need. Furthermore, a small team of housekeepers, gardeners, pool attendants and security will maintain and guard the villa. A variety of additional services are available that you may request anytime for a small extra fee. How about breakfast or an in-house massage in the privacy of your villa?
