Villa Shantika is a stunning 3-bedroom holiday retreat that offers you a comfortable and affordable vacation residence that is authentically Balinese. You will enter the villa garden through a lush grove of tropical plants, walking alongside the emerald color swimming pool that glistening bright under the Bali sun almost like a natural pond. The traditional alang-alang roof and the square-shaped wooden poles that hold it steady, intricately carved doors, windows and even the staircases and the antique furniture will ensure that you experience the traditional Balinese opulence, over the overly modern vacation residences you see everywhere. The design of the spacious holiday haven has ensured that you feel relax on the vintage armchairs while getting lovely views of the garden and the swimming pool outside. Located in a lively neighborhood with a nearby padel court operating until 10 PM, the villa offers a comfortable and well-situated base for your stay. As is typical for a central location, some noise from surrounding activities may occasionally be heard during the daytime and early evening
This 3-bedroom villa accommodates up to 6 people in their master suite and two guest rooms. With traditional wooden roofs, bed frames, wardrobes and tables, the rich wood colors are carried out like a theme all over the villa. In order to maintain the simplicity and the minimal atmosphere, you cannot see many bright colors popping up in the bedroom decorations.
They have kept a very monochromatic color scheme from the bedding, art in the walls to the curtains. There is an entertainment corner in every bedroom with a flat screen TV that you can watch from the bed. Every bedroom comes with an open-air bathroom with stone sinks, tubs and a rain shower with many indoor plants soothing the eye and the air around you.
The villa garden features a well-maintained swimming pool that is narrow to fit the garden size perfectly with 14 meters in length. Just like the other areas of the villa, the swimming pool and the surrounding gardens are very much child friendly. There is a semi outdoor area which is shaded and very much open to the garden, allowing you to enjoy the best of both worlds. Apart from the regular sunbeds waiting next to the swimming pool for you to have a nice sunbath, there are comfortable seating areas with many plush cushions arranged under the trees for you to fully take in the refreshing and rejuvenating air in the garden.
There are 4 main indoor living spaces in the villa. The front living area is a combination of a spacious sitting area and a dining table along with a kitchen. The entertainment corner is creatively placed on an upper level that you can reach with a wooden staircase. There are many cushioned chairs, couches and footstools in this area where you get a beautiful view of the garden outside. There is also a small library for you to relax and read on this upper living area as well. The kitchen is at the far end of the ground floor living space, a small yet fully equipped kitchen with all the needed appliances and cookware open for the guests to use.
The villa has a small staff of two, who will be available full time for you. They will provide 24-hour security, daily housekeeping, personal guest assistance and maintenance of the pool and the garden. Services such as laundry and a car with a driver will be provided at an extra fee.
Tucked away in a silent lane of Seminyak, Villa Shantika is a convenient location if you wish to explore this beautiful resort town during your stay. The popular Gado Gado Beach and Double Six Beach are only a short drive away from the villa if you rent a scooter or a car which will be arranged by the staff. Straw Hut and Grain are two of the popular local restaurants if you want to experience authentic Balinese cuisine. If you wish to enjoy some fun nightlife, drop by Ku De Ta, which is one of the hottest spots in the area.
