Villa Atas Awan is a seven-bedroom tropical retreat located just twenty minutes away from the center of Ubud. The villa provides its guest stunning views of Bali’s emerald green paddy fields and stunning volcanic formations. The villa is housed in two wooden structures replete with Balinese elegance. The tropical greenery that surrounds the estate and the glistening swimming pool together create an idyllic environment that is perfect for rejuvenating one’s self. The tranquil setting of the villa makes it an ideal vacation rental for large groups and even private events like weddings and yoga retreats.
The seven bedrooms of Villa Atas Awan are tastefully designed with a seamless blend of modern aesthetics and Balinese design sentiments. The master suites located on the top floors enjoy sweeping views of the surrounding paddy fields. The rooms have glass doors to let in natural light and are equipped with king sized beds with luxurious linens, rattan sofas and private terraces to enjoy Balinese sunsets. The attached en suites are luxuriously equipped with tropical rain showers and sunken bathtubs. Comfort is never too far away.
The remaining guest rooms are located in the second floor of the villa. The high thatched roofs and well designed ventilation ensure that the air conditioned rooms are spacious and make guests feel right at home. All the rooms enjoy beautiful views of the grounds and access to amenities that the villa has to offer. The attached bathrooms are equipped with tropical rain showers and terrazzo bathtubs for a relaxing experience as well. The lounge areas have hammock beds.
The outdoors of Villa Atas Awan are a great place for relaxation. An infinity pool separating the two wooden houses is the star attraction of this villa. The tropical gardens of the villa feature towering palms, vibrant foliage and colorful blossoms that gives the place its cheery island vibe. Poolside reclining chairs and shady parasols let guests work on their tan for the vacation.
Both the living areas of Villa Atas Awan are spacious, well ventilated and designed with special attention to Balinese elements. Bamboo and rattan furniture occupy prime space with comfortable cushion and artsy decor pieces thrown into the mix. The two living areas are connected via a wooden bridge and look out onto the swimming pool, giving the place a quaint vibe. The peaceful space of Villa Atas Awan are ideal for meditating and striking yoga postures.
The dining area can accommodate large groups for a feast too. Both the houses also feature open kitchens.
Villa Atas Awan boasts of an extremely courteous staff. The regular staff consists of four people includinghousekeeping, security and personalized guest assistance. Thus, the guests can conveniently rest and enjoy service of the villa.
Ubud is a cultural hub with its many art galleries, cafes and eateries. Guests can hence enjoy the quiet beauty of Bali’s rice fields and admire its art vibes in close proximity to the villa. The 20 minute drive from Villa Atas Awan to the heart of Ubud takes you through traditional Balinese villages and beautiful paddy fields. The tourist cities of Seminyak and Canggu can be driven to in an hour, hence one can take a day trip to Bali’s famous white sand beaches as well. Seminyak’s beach clubs like Potato Head and Ku de Ta are great places to enjoy Bali’s nightlife and let your hair down.
