Villa Bodhi is a peaceful sanctuary overlooking tropical jungles and a virgin river valley. 30 minutes away from the center of Ubud, the four-bedroom villa features a saltwater infinity pool that overlooks the sweeping greenery that the Indonesian island is known for. The villa is housed in modernized joglo style pavilions, striking a balance between contemporary design sensibilities and traditional Balinese charms. The exquisitely decorated villa with its well manicured lawns can accommodate large groups and hence is an ideal venue for small weddings and other private events.
The four bedrooms of Villa Bodhi are housed in four different buildings providing guests with complete privacy and a great sense of spaciousness. With hand-picked antiques from all around Asia strewn about the property, the villa exudes a rustic but opulent vibe. Right next to the villa entrance is located the Jaya House- a two storeyed building housing the master bedroom as well as a living area. Apart from the en suite, a marble guest bathroom is also present in the building equipped with stone bathtubs and washbasins. The bedroom has amenities like a luxurious four-poster bed, a writing table and stunning views of the greenery around the villa. The living area has a television and comfy sofas.
Sri House is designed following traditional Balinese aesthetics. It has two twin beds, is accessible by wheelchairs and has a semi-outdoor bathroom with a bathtub and rain shower. The Menala House is situated in a reclaimed 19th century teak cottage. It has its own covered porch, fish pond and an opulent bathroom with a stone bathtub and walk in shower. Directly beside the pool is located the Laba House.
The inviting outdoors of Villa Bodhi offers its guests absolute peace, seclusion as well as privacy. Tropical greenery surrounds the 10 meter long infinity edge saltwater pool and with their bright green foliage and bright blossoms. The pool empties into a shallower plunge pool, creating a great spot for kids to safely splash around in. The grounds also have lotus ponds, potted plants and antique sculptures that add to the tropical vibe of the place.
In the middle of the villa grounds inside a wooden joglo structure is situated the living and dining areas of Villa Bodhi. The living and dining areas are connected by a small wooden bridge. The dining area has a teak table that is capable of sitting ten people, making it a perfect setting for small feasts. The rustic decor of the space is topped off by a simple but well equipped kitchen that has refrigerators, stoves, utensils and cutlery for whipping up meals.
Villa Bodhi boasts of great services and hospitality. The staff is always ready to treat guests with a smile and make their stay as comfortable as possible. The staff is also happy to provide any local information if required. Apart from a complimentary shuttle to the center of Ubud, the villa also offers free mountain bikes for local exploration.
Ubud, a growing tourism hotspot in South Bali, is known for its artsy vibe. The cultural hub of South Bali is dotted with cafes, eateries, souvenir shops and art galleries. Hence, guests can spend a great amount of time exploring the city with its art scene, the yoga retreats and spiritual spots. Although located a little inland, Ubud is not too far away from the Balinese coast as well. Hence, guests can reach the beaches of Seminyak and Canggu within a one hour drive. At Seminyak, guests can enjoy the fine white sand beaches like Batu Belig, happening beach clubs like La Plancha and Potato Head and a unique shopping experience at Eat Street. Canggu welcomes guests with a different tranquil beauty. Its stunning volcanic beaches, sea temples with stunning views of the setting sun, golf courses and rolling paddy fields fills guests with a great sense of closeness to nature. Island living does not get better than this.
