During this time we have worked on the villa maintenance, repaired the small things that needed to be repaired and obtained health and hygiene certifications from the Province of Bali. The team remained the same and won great reviews before the pandemic. Griya Estate have fully vaccinated staff who are trained to the highest hygiene standards.

Set on a beautiful location with expansive views of the rice fields, Griya Estate combine in a stunning 7-bedroom villa complex that will make all your holiday dreams come true. The complex consists of interconnecting 3-bedroom and 4-bedroom villas, and each of the two villas features its own swimming pool. The villas are perfect for large families, groups of friends, intimate celebrations such as weddings, birthdays, graduations, or for retreats.
Surrounded by nature, this peaceful 7 bedroom retreat will offer you a wonderful and relaxing holiday. The villas are located in the quiet village of Tengkulak Kelod but are yet very close to the cultural heart of Ubud. There is plenty to do in the area and a lot of opportunities to explore.
There are a total of seven generous and comfortable bedrooms in the complex. The rooms are comfortably furnished and each has king-size or queen-size beds and ensuite bathrooms. The traditional décor of the rooms give the villa an authentic look. What you will really enjoy when waking up in the morning, is the wide view of the ricefields and lush green garden to be seen from each of the bedroom verandas. The biggest room in the 4 bedroom villa is extra luxurious, with a TV as well as a bathtub.
When staying at Griya Estate, guests have access to two large infinity-edge swimming pools of both 12-meter long! There has also been thought about the little ones, as both swimming pools have a separated shallow plunge pool ideal for children who can’t swim yet. While floating in the pool, you can enjoy the stunning rice field views and the peacefulness that the villa's surroundings offer you. If you wish to work on your tan, the pool loungers next to the swimming pool are perfect for this. If the heat is getting too much, you can move to the “bale” (authentic wooden pavilion) and hide in the shade. The “bale” is also the perfect spot to enjoy a relaxing massage.
The living areas of both villas look out over the lush, green gardens and the swimming pools. If you want to cool down from the heat for a while, the indoor areas of the villas are very well equipped to spend a few hours inside. Being fully air-conditioned, it is the ideal place to spend hours with your loved ones playing games or watch show on the TV. Next to the living area, there is a separated media room with another TV. This is also ideal for children who want to spend a bit of time away from their parents, choosing their own favorite movies to watch. There is a dining area set up for 8 people, but an additional 2 people could easily be accommodated. The fully equipped kitchen can be used by guests who would like to cook, but there is also a cook included in the staff that can prepare delicious meals for you. The villas have strong broadband internet, both wired and wireless. If there are guests who wish to work remotely, that is no issue at Griya Atma.
Another great plus is that you do not need to worry about the occasional Bali power cuts while staying in these villas, as the villas have a big generator.
Upon arrival, the villa manager will greet you and show you around the villa. During your stay, he is on standby and always available for a call if there is anything you need. He can also help you to organize activities. Besides the villa manager, the villas have 4 waiters and housekeepers, someone who takes care of the pool and villa maintenance, a cook, a gardener, and 2 securities who watch the villas overnight. If you wish to cook by yourself, you are welcome to use the fully equipped kitchen. But, if you just want to sit back and relax there is a wonderful cook who loves to prepare breakfast, lunch, and dinner for you as you wished for. He can cook both Indonesian and Western meals. Want to have a night out without the children? The staff is well trained and loves children. They are happy to stay late and to babysit in return for a small fee. One more inclusion in the villa is daily return shuttle to Ubud center.
It takes an approximate 15 minutes drive to reach the center of Ubud. There are plenty of things to do and see in and around Ubud. Enjoy the views while walking the Campuhan Ridge Walk, eat a fresh and healthy meal in one of the many hip cafes, take a yoga lesson in the Yoga Barn or visit the famous Elephant Caves or Batuan Temple. For those who love a bit of action, rafting or cycling through ricefields is a great option too!
If you want to see the real Balinese life, you can stay a bit closer to the villa and walk around in Tengulak Kelod. The village where the villas are located.
