Villa Liang Ubud

The villa has 3 beautifully laid-out bedrooms that display the perfect confluence of modern and traditional Balinese styles. The three rooms also have unique names. The Kokokan bedroom is named after a white heron. The Murai bedroom is named after the beautiful magpie. And the Kutilang bedroom is named after a small songbird. All three have large king beds.

Kokokan is the master suite in the house as it is larger in space and comes with a seating area on an adjoining terrace. Otherwise, the three bedrooms all have similar facilities and the same décor. You will find double beds, handmade teak furniture, spacious wardrobes, and writing desks. The master suite has a bathtub, while the two other ensuite bathrooms come with showers.

The first thing that will catch your eye on entering the estate is the tropical-style garden where there are many banana trees and swaying coconuts. There is also a small lawn where you can spread out and have a picnic lunch if you want. And at the center, there is a swimming pool just for your use. Steps lead down gently into the pool. Several loungers are placed on the poolside for your pre or post-swimming relaxation. There is even an outdoor shower. Clearly, the villa owner has thought of everything.

A couple of steps away, there is a gazebo with a traditional Balinese-style grass roof. It has a day bed and cushions. Relax here if you prefer shade.

Rock, marble, and timber used in the construction highlight the local architecture of Ubud. You will find the traditional alang-alang roofing running through the house. The tall ceiling construction allows more light and air to flood through the rooms, providing natural ventilation.

Inside, there is one room apart from the bedrooms. This open-concept room is a modernized version of a traditional Balinese home. The lounging area with a large sofa is in one corner. In the other corner, you will find a well-equipped kitchen with many appliances, glassware, and tableware. An 8-sitter dining table is placed in between. Paintings and traditional Balinese sculptures decorate this room. The entire group will stay close as all the common areas are next to each other.

This luxury home is pre-stocked with everything guests need. There are cooking appliances and utensils, glassware and tableware. A strong internet connection covers the estate. The bathrooms have towels and toiletries. The cleaning team will change the towels and toiletries. For a charge, you can ask for a chef and a masseur. Airport transfers can also be arranged. You can book just one bedroom as a Bed and Breakfast or the entire villa.
