Deriving its namesake from Mas Village of Ubud, is a 2-bedroom villa for 4 guests known as Villa Mas Ubud. Conceptualised with a contemporary design that is reflected in the use of materials and its spaces, guests will be floored by outdoors and indoors that emanate a chic, stylish vibe yet infused with elements that are unmistakably local Balinese. Located just a short driving distance from landmarks like the Sacred Monkey Forest and Ubud Palace among others, guests will be pleased not only by the strategic surroundings but by the facilities that they can immerse themselves in whether by the private pool with its concrete paved terrace, the ample dining space, or the well-appointed rooms for restful nights.
The 2 tasteful bedrooms sleep 4 guests, which are housed in 2 separate red-brick building structures diagonally across one another. Both rooms are fitted with double bedding and wooden furniture and furnishings, in shades that are aesthetically pleasing and naturally neutral, imbuing touches of personalization and cosiness to the occupants. The equally spacious bathrooms with their adjoining dressing room certainly bring out the best of the ensuite spaces, and one of which also features an oval free-standing bathtub against floor-to-ceiling blue ceramic tiles to boot.
The outdoors are concrete-paved for its terraces that host a private lap pool for the adult guests and a smaller children’s pool area for kids. Wooden deck chairs allow guests to sunbathe under the tropical skies and balmy lush greenery that frame the fringes of the villa, with an outdoor shower area made of bamboo doors for guests’ convenience. The outdoors are seamlessly integrated with the indoors via an open layout that transcend both boundaries, while guests can also check out a little courtyard in a garden-like setting with a pathway that leads out to the main entrance of the villa, bounded by wooden front doors.
The open-plan layout of the villa makes the interiors all the more spacious and seamless where the living hall is interconnected to the dining room in a single big space. The living area with its oversized and plush sofa couches overlooks the pool outdoors and has a flat-screen television for guests to have their all-day entertainment. Adjacent to this is the dining room with its wooden long dining table and chairs that occupy the same space as the open fully-equipped kitchen with its marble tabletop surface and square wall tiles. Just directly behind this dining space is the open-air courtyard and pathway that leads out to the entrance and exit of the villa.
Complimentary WiFi connectivity is provided for guests while daily breakfast is also included as part of the room rate. Guests can also request for other services if needed such as a chef for hire as well as airport transfer, all chargeable at additional costs.
The villa is located in Mas Village of Ubud that is just a short driving distance from famous attractions and sites like the Sacred Monkey Forest, Ubud Palace and Tegalalang rice terraces. There is also the Pasar Seni art market where guests can shop for local wooden crafts and artisanal home decor should they be interested.
