Located in the heart of Ubud, Villa Melati is a cluster of standalone pavilions with traditional Balinese alang-alang roofs. It will give you perfect views of the surrounding rice fields, the mountains and also Ayung River that peacefully flows nearby. The design of the villa is as close to the nature as it gets maintaining great comfort and luxury at the same time. You can take a refreshing dip in the swimming pool that is strategically placed in the middle of the villa garden without harming view beyond. This environmentally friendly green villa complex is an ideal tropical treat especially for the nature lover in you with eyes seeking lots of greenery and peace.
Surrounded by ornate wood carvings in the walls, furniture, the roof and even the staircases, the bedrooms of Villa Melati looks like something out of a dream. All three-bedroom quarters are situated independently from each other and allows you to have an intimate and comfortable retreat away from the world. The bedrooms have king sized beds covered in crisp white linen and deep blue bed runners to perfectly blend in with the rest of the decorations.
With each bedroom you get a beautifully weathered chest of drawers and comfortable corners filled with plush cushions that will make a perfect spot for yoga, or simply lay down and relax during the day. All three bedrooms get their own simple garden space with a terrace, giving you the comfort of your own little corner in Bali.
When you step outside to the villa garden, you will be greeted with many shades of green that blends all the way to the horizon. The villa is situated in an elevated location, and the view that you get from the swimming pool and the stone deck of the pool is simply stunning. From the Sayan Ridge where the villa is situated on, you can see the lush rainforest of Bali surrounding you.
There are a plenty of sunbeds to catch the sunlight, and many shades to simply sit under with your favorite book and relax. This villa is also known to be very child-friendly, and your little ones can play in the soft grassy lawn as you relax enjoying your tropical vacation.
Villa Melati has an open-air living area softly flooded in sunlight throughout the day where you can sit, relax, and enjoy the view around you, sitting on the comfortable couches. You can see the ongoing theme of traditional Balinese wooden furniture in the living area as well, with an alang-alang style roof that shelters you from above. There is an indoor dining area with a table that can seat up to 8 people and if you are in the mood for some alfresco dining, the staff will arrange a dining area for you in the outdoor balcony. The kitchen is quite spacious and fully equipped with all the cookware and essentials that you need.
There is a staff of 5 who speak English and are fully trained to take care of the villa's upkeep. They will be handling housekeeping services, 24-hour security, gardening, and pool maintenance. If you like laundry services, rent a car or a personal chef, you can make a request to the staff and they will arrange them for you at an additional cost.
The location of the villa is about 6km away from Central Ubud. You can simply rent a scooter when you feel like going to one of the popular restaurants or pubs in Ubud. Amandari Spa is nearby for a relaxing Balinese or Thai massage. The Yoga Barn awaits you with an amazing spiritual experience where you can practice yoga and reconnect with your spiritual self. You can also drop by Ubud Palace and Monkey Forest which are two of the most popular tourist attractions in this cultural heart of the Bali island.
