Which Late-Night Spa in Seminyak Is Best for You?

Not every spa on this list offers the same experience. Some are simple places to fix tired feet after shopping. Others are the kind of spa where you could happily disappear for three hours and emerge wondering what day it is.

A quick warning before you build your evening around the place: closing time is not necessarily the latest treatment start time. If a spa closes at 10 pm, it probably will not let you begin a two-hour ritual at 9:45 pm. For anything longer than an hour, contact the spa beforehand.

1. AWAY Spa at W Bali – Seminyak

If by “late night” you mean properly late, not “we managed to squeeze you in at 8:30 pm”, AWAY Spa is the obvious place to start.

Located inside W Bali – Seminyak in Petitenget, AWAY Spa operates 24 hours a day. That makes it unusually useful for travellers who land late, couples coming back from dinner, or anyone whose night out has somehow ended with the sudden realisation that a massage sounds much better than another cocktail.

This is not a basic massage shop. AWAY is very much a luxury hotel-spa experience, with a bold contemporary atmosphere rather than the hushed, incense-heavy setting you might expect from a traditional Balinese spa.

The spa is also designed around the idea of recovery before or after a big day or night. Alongside body treatments, there are facilities such as a steam room, hot stone bath and cold plunge. If you have spent the evening dancing, the midnight-massage idea suddenly starts making a lot of sense.

What it is known for: Being one of the rare genuine 24-hour spa options in Seminyak.

Treatment range includes:

  • Full-body massages
  • Late-night and midnight massage treatments
  • Manicures and pedicures
  • Hair and beauty services
  • Hot stone bath
  • Cold plunge
  • Steam and relaxation facilities

Address: W Bali – Seminyak, Jl. Petitenget, Kerobokan, Seminyak, Bali 80361

2. Aveva Massage Lab

Aveva Massage Lab is one of the newer names on this list, opening in Seminyak in 2026. More importantly for this article, it stays open until 11 pm daily.

It is a good choice when you want something less elaborate than a resort spa but still want plenty of treatment options. The menu ranges from classic Balinese massage to deep tissue, Thai and Shiatsu massage, so you are not stuck choosing between “massage” and… slightly longer massage.

If you have been walking, shopping or exploring all day, the shorter treatments are especially useful. You can drop in for reflexology or focused work on your back and shoulders instead of committing to an elaborate two-hour ritual.

There are also facials, scrubs and nail treatments, which makes Aveva practical for friends who want to book together but do not necessarily want the same treatment.

What it is known for: A broad massage menu, relatively accessible pricing and a late 11 pm closing time.

Treatment range includes:

3. Spa Air

Spa Air is hidden inside Villa Air Bali in Petitenget, giving it a noticeably calmer atmosphere than some of the spas located directly along Seminyak’s busiest streets.

It is also one of the later-closing options, operating until 11 pm.

Where Spa Air becomes particularly interesting is its treatment menu. Instead of focusing purely on standard massages, it draws on Indonesian, Thai and Indian wellness traditions. You can still book a classic Balinese treatment, but there are also Ayurvedic therapies, body scrubs, herbal treatments and longer spa packages.

That makes it a better option when you want the spa visit to be part of the evening rather than simply a quick hour between dinner and bed.

Couples should also take a look at the longer rituals. Some combine massages with body treatments, baths and other spa elements, so you can turn an ordinary Tuesday night in Seminyak into something rather more indulgent.

What it is known for: Ayurvedic treatments, long spa rituals and a peaceful resort setting.

Treatment range includes:

  • Balinese massage
  • Ayurvedic massage
  • Shirodhara
  • Sen Therapy inspired by Thai techniques
  • Foot reflexology
  • Traditional facials
  • Javanese body scrubs
  • Herbal body treatments
  • Hair spa treatments

If you are considering one of the longer two- or three-hour packages, book much earlier than closing time.

4. Bodyworks Spa

Bodyworks has been part of Bali’s spa scene since the 1990s, but there is an important update for returning visitors: it is no longer at its old Jalan Kayu Jati address.

Its current home is on Jalan Lebak Sari in Petitenget.

The new space has become almost as well known for its striking interiors as its treatments. But Bodyworks is not just somewhere to take pretty photos before your massage. Its extensive menu makes it particularly convenient when several people want to visit together.

One person might want a Balinese massage. Someone else wants a facial. Another has decided that tonight, apparently, is the night for a complete hair rescue. Bodyworks can accommodate a wider range of beauty and spa treatments than a massage-only venue.

The spa stays open until 10 pm, but it is popular and actively recommends booking ahead. Do not count on strolling in with six friends at 8 pm and immediately finding six treatment beds available.

What it is known for: Beautiful interiors, a long history in Bali and a particularly varied beauty and spa menu.

Treatment range includes:

  • Balinese massage
  • Aromatherapy massage
  • Thai massage
  • Shiatsu
  • Pregnancy massage
  • Four-hand massage
  • Foot massage
  • Facials
  • Body scrubs and body treatments
  • Flower baths

5. Spa Bali Seminyak

Image Credit to Google Maps | Spa Bali Drupadi
Image Credit to Google Maps | Spa Bali Drupadi

Spa Bali remains one of the more practical late-night choices in Seminyak because it has two Seminyak locations, at Drupadi and Kayu Aya.

Both currently stay open until 10 pm.

That matters more than you might think. Seminyak traffic has an irritating habit of turning a short journey into an unexpectedly long one, so having two branches means you can choose whichever works better with your dinner reservation or villa location.

The treatment menu is broad without becoming overwhelming. Traditional Balinese massage sits alongside aromatherapy, warm-stone treatments, reflexology, facials and beauty services. It also retains Ayurvedic and Shirodhara treatments, something that was already highlighted in the original version of this article.

Spa Bali is therefore a useful middle ground: easy enough for a quick foot massage but with enough treatments to make a longer spa visit worthwhile.

What it is known for: Good variety, central locations and accessible traditional spa treatments.

Treatment range includes:

  • Signature Balinese massage
  • Aromatherapy massage
  • Warm-stone massage
  • Ayurveda and Shirodhara
  • Thai herbal treatments
  • Foot massage and reflexology
  • Head massage
  • Traditional Balinese facials
  • Body scrubs
  • Hair cream baths
  • Flower baths
  • Waxing and beauty treatments

6. SUNDARI Wellness

If your idea of spa time goes beyond simply sorting out sore calves, SUNDARI Wellness deserves a look.

Located in Petitenget, SUNDARI combines traditional Balinese ideas about wellbeing with contemporary massage, body and skincare treatments. The atmosphere is more wellness-focused than a quick walk-in massage shop, making it suited to travellers who want a slower and more considered treatment.

It is particularly interesting if your group has different priorities. Someone can opt for a massage while another chooses a facial or body treatment, without needing to split up and visit different spas.

SUNDARI currently stays open until 10 pm, so it works for an evening appointment, although its longer rituals are better booked before dinner rather than squeezed into the final slot.

Another useful detail is its complimentary pick-up service for selected nearby areas, including Seminyak, Petitenget, Kerobokan, Umalas and Batu Belig. Advance notice is required.

What it is known for: Combining traditional Balinese wellness concepts with contemporary skin and body treatments.

Treatment range includes:

  • Balinese-inspired massages
  • Body treatments
  • Organic exfoliation treatments
  • Facial and skincare treatments
  • Hand and foot treatments
  • Wellness and healing rituals
  • More advanced facial treatments

7. The Spa by The Amala

Image Credit to Google Maps | Tula Wellness by The Amala
Image Credit to Google Maps | Tula Wellness by The Amala

The Spa by The Amala sits away from the busiest Petitenget nightlife area, on Jalan Kunti in Seminyak. That change of atmosphere is part of its appeal.

Rather than trying to be a late-night beauty stop, The Amala approaches spa treatments as part of a wider wellness experience. Its philosophy combines Western aromatherapy with influences from Ayurveda and Traditional Chinese Medicine.

There are also yoga, meditation and wellness sessions available through the property, so this is one of the better choices on the list for people who are genuinely interested in wellness rather than just looking for a post-beach massage.

Couples may particularly appreciate the private treatment suites. And because The Amala is a boutique retreat rather than a huge resort, the whole experience feels more intimate.

It operates until 10 pm daily.

What it is known for: A holistic approach combining spa treatments, aromatherapy and Eastern wellness traditions.

Treatment and wellness range includes:

  • Spa and massage treatments
  • Aromatherapy-based treatments
  • Ayurveda-inspired wellness
  • Traditional Chinese Medicine influences
  • Couple treatment suites
  • Yoga
  • Meditation
  • Tibetan singing-bowl sessions
  • Private wellness masterclasses
  • Multi-day wellness programmes

8. Ayu Spa Bali

Not every massage needs marble reception desks and a robe so fluffy that you consider stealing it.

Sometimes you have spent a full day exploring Bali, your shoulders are tight, your feet are protesting and what you really want is a good massage at a sensible price.

Ayu Spa is particularly useful for that.

Located on Jalan Nakula and open until 10 pm, it offers a large menu of traditional and modern massage treatments. Balinese massage is the obvious place to start, but stronger-pressure options such as deep tissue, Thai and Shiatsu are available too.

There are also plenty of shorter treatments. If committing another 90 minutes to your itinerary sounds impossible, a head, back, shoulder or foot massage can still give tired muscles some attention before bed.

Ayu also offers home-service treatments, which can be especially handy for groups staying in a private villa.

What it is known for: A large treatment selection at comparatively accessible prices.

Treatment range includes:

  • Balinese massage
  • Deep-tissue massage
  • Aromatherapy
  • Thai massage
  • Shiatsu
  • Hot-stone massage
  • Herbal massage
  • Foot reflexology
  • Head, hand and back massage
  • Body scrubs
  • Facials
  • Manicures and pedicures
  • Hair braiding
  • Multi-treatment packages
  • Villa and hotel home service

9. No.1 Wellness Club

Image Credit to Google Maps | No.1 Wellness Club
Image Credit to Google Maps | No.1 Wellness Club

No.1 Wellness Club is slightly different from most entries in this guide.

Yes, you can come here for a massage. But the reason you might choose it over a traditional Seminyak spa is what happens around the massage.

The wellness club combines treatment rooms with a sauna, cold plunge and hot bath, and massage bookings currently include access to the recovery facilities. If your legs are feeling the consequences of surfing, hiking, gym sessions or simply walking around Bali in the heat all day, the combination may appeal more than another flower bath.

The massage menu is relatively focused. Instead of dozens of beauty treatments, there are options aimed at relaxation, recovery and body work, including its signature massage, lymphatic massage and slimming treatment.

There are also Pilates and yoga facilities on site, although that is obviously less relevant when your master plan at 9 pm involves lying completely still.

What it is known for: Combining massage with contrast-therapy and recovery facilities.

Treatment and wellness range includes:

  • Signature massage
  • Relaxation massage
  • Lymphatic massage
  • Slimming massage
  • Sauna
  • Cold plunge
  • Hot bath
  • Pilates and reformer Pilates
  • Yoga and stretching
  • Recovery-focused wellness sessions

10. Essential Health & Rejuvenation Spa

Image Credit to Google Maps | Essential Health & Rejuvenation Spa

Essential Spa is located inside Seminyak Square, making it particularly convenient if you have been shopping or eating around Kayu Aya and want to finish your evening with a treatment.

Rather than focusing primarily on elaborate beauty rituals, the menu has a strong massage and body-recovery emphasis. That makes it useful when you know exactly what is bothering you after a long Bali day.

For example, someone dealing with general travel fatigue may choose a relaxation or rejuvenation massage, while someone feeling particularly stiff can look at the deeper-pressure or muscle-recovery options.

There are also shorter treatments for tired feet, necks and shoulders, plus body scrubs and longer combinations if you want more than a massage.

Essential stays open until 10 pm every day.

What it is known for: A particularly broad range of massage styles and treatments aimed at different recovery needs.

Treatment range includes:

  • Relaxation massage
  • Rejuvenation massage
  • Aromatherapy massage
  • Deep-healing massage
  • Muscle-recovery treatments
  • Hot-stone massage
  • Lymphatic treatments
  • Four-hand massage
  • Foot massage
  • Head, neck and shoulder massage
  • Body scrubs
  • Sun-exposure treatments
  • Children’s massage
  • Multi-treatment spa packages

How Late Can You Actually Book a Massage in Seminyak?

This is the part worth knowing before you arrange dinner around your spa appointment.

A spa being open until 10 pm does not mean every treatment can start at 10 pm. Longer services need to finish before closing, and some spas set their final appointment considerably earlier.

For example, if you want a 90-minute massage at a spa closing at 10 pm, aim to book somewhere around 8 pm rather than turning up at 9 pm and hoping for the best.

For late appointments:

  • Book earlier in the day, particularly on Friday and Saturday.
  • Tell the spa exactly which treatment and duration you want.
  • Confirm the latest starting time, not just the closing time.
  • Allow extra time for Seminyak traffic.
  • Arrive 10–15 minutes early if the spa asks you to complete a consultation form.
  • For groups, book well ahead rather than relying on walk-in availability.

The exception is AWAY Spa, where the 24-hour operation gives you considerably more flexibility. Even there, some after-hours treatments require advance reservations.

Which Seminyak Spa Should You Choose?

There is no reason to pick the fanciest spa simply because you are on holiday. The right choice depends on what you actually need that night.

If you want a massage after midnight

Choose AWAY Spa at W Bali – Seminyak. Its 24-hour opening makes it the clearest option for genuinely late appointments.

If you want to stay out until 11 pm

Look at Aveva Massage Lab or Spa Air. Both stay open later than most of the other venues in this guide.

If you mainly want a good massage without a luxury price tag

Ayu Spa, Spa Bali and Aveva are worth comparing.

If you are planning a girls’ night or group spa visit

Bodyworks is one of the easiest places to consider because the menu covers massage, beauty, hair and body treatments.

If this is part of a romantic evening

Consider Spa Air, The Spa by The Amala or AWAY Spa, where the surroundings and longer treatment options make the experience feel more like an occasion.

If you have been surfing, hiking or exercising

No.1 Wellness Club stands out because you can combine massage with its sauna, cold plunge and hot bath.

If your group wants very different treatments

Try Bodyworks, Spa Bali or Essential Spa, all of which have menus broad enough to prevent a 20-minute group debate over where to go.

And yes, with a large group, that last benefit may be worth more than the massage itself.

Can You Get a Late-Night Massage at Your Seminyak Villa Instead?

Absolutely, and sometimes this is the easiest option of all.

Maybe the kids are already asleep. Maybe half your group has changed into pyjamas and there is zero chance you are convincing them to go back into Seminyak traffic. Or maybe your private pool and air-conditioned villa suddenly feel much more appealing than getting dressed again.

Several Bali spa operators offer mobile or home-service treatments, and some of the spas above can arrange treatments outside their own premises.

If you are staying in one of our Seminyak villas, you can also speak with the Villa Finder concierge team about arranging services during your stay.

That can be particularly convenient for:

  • Families with young children
  • Groups wanting several therapists at the same time
  • Couples who prefer privacy
  • Guests celebrating birthdays or special occasions
  • Travellers who simply do not want to deal with Seminyak traffic again

The best part? When the treatment finishes, your bed is approximately 30 seconds away.

What to Know Before Visiting a Late-Night Spa in Seminyak

A little planning makes evening spa visits much easier.

First, check what is included in the quoted price. Some higher-end spas add tax and service charges to menu prices, while others list the final amount. If you are comparing spas primarily on price, ask for the total rather than comparing the number printed beside the treatment.

Second, explain what you actually want from the massage. “Strong” can mean very different things to different people. Tell the therapist whether you want relaxing pressure, firm pressure or focused work on areas such as your neck, shoulders, back or calves.

Finally, mention pregnancy, injuries, recent surgery or other medical concerns before the treatment. Not every massage technique is appropriate for every guest, and specialised treatments may require particular therapists or advance arrangements.

If you are still deciding between daytime spas as well, see our broader guide to the best spas in Seminyak.

FAQs About Late-Night Spas in Seminyak

Are there 24-hour spas in Seminyak?

Yes. AWAY Spa at W Bali – Seminyak operates 24 hours, making it one of the clearest options for treatments well after most Seminyak spas have closed. Advance booking is recommended for very late or overnight appointments.

What time do most spas in Seminyak close?

Many spas close around 9 pm or 10 pm, while a smaller number remain open until 11 pm. This guide focuses specifically on places that currently stay open until at least 10 pm.

Always check the latest hours before travelling because operating times can change.

Can I book a massage in Seminyak at 10 pm?

Sometimes, but it depends on the spa.

A venue that closes at 11 pm may be able to accommodate a 10 pm one-hour treatment, whereas a spa closing at 10 pm will normally require you to start earlier. Contact the spa and ask for its last treatment time rather than simply asking when it closes.

Which Seminyak spa stays open the latest?

AWAY Spa at W Bali – Seminyak stays open 24 hours. Among more conventional day spas and massage studios, some options such as Spa Air and Aveva stay open until 11 pm.

What treatments can you get late at night in Seminyak?

Balinese massage, aromatherapy massage, deep-tissue treatments, reflexology and shorter back or shoulder massages are widely available.

Depending on the spa, you may also find facials, body scrubs, hot-stone massage, Shirodhara, manicures, pedicures, hair treatments and full spa packages.

Do late-night spas in Seminyak accept walk-ins?

Some do, but booking is safer, particularly between dinner and closing time.

Even if the spa accepts walk-ins, a specific therapist, couple room or longer treatment might already be booked. Groups should almost always make reservations beforehand.

How much does a massage in Seminyak cost?

Prices vary considerably depending on the venue and treatment. Simple local massages can cost a few hundred thousand rupiah or less, while elaborate treatments at luxury hotel spas can cost considerably more.

Duration matters too. Check whether the advertised amount covers 30, 60 or 90 minutes and whether tax and service are already included.

Is a Balinese massage different from deep-tissue massage?

Generally, yes.

Traditional Balinese massage usually combines flowing strokes, kneading, pressure and stretching, often using oil. Deep-tissue massage typically applies firmer, more targeted pressure to deeper layers of muscle.

If you simply want to relax after a day at the beach, Balinese massage is an easy starting point. If you are trying to deal with stubborn muscular tightness, ask the spa whether a deeper-pressure treatment would be more appropriate.

Are there spas in Seminyak that are good for couples?

Yes. Spa Air, The Spa by The Amala, Bodyworks and AWAY Spa all suit couples, although the style varies considerably.

If you specifically want to be treated together, ask for a couple treatment room rather than assuming two appointments will automatically be in the same room.

Can a group book a late-night spa together?

Yes, but advance booking becomes increasingly important as the group gets bigger.

If four or six people want treatments simultaneously, the spa needs enough therapists and treatment rooms available. Bodyworks is particularly useful for groups because people can choose from massage, facial, hair and beauty treatments instead of everyone having to book the same thing.

Can children have spa treatments in Seminyak?

Some spas provide treatments specifically designed for younger guests, but age policies vary considerably.

Essential Spa, for example, currently lists massage treatments for children. Luxury hotel spas may impose minimum ages for certain facilities even when child-friendly treatments are available. Check directly with the spa before booking.

Can I arrange an in-villa massage in Seminyak?

Yes. Mobile massage services are widely available around Seminyak, and some established spas offer home or villa treatments too.

If you have booked your Bali villa with Villa Finder, ask our concierge team what can be arranged for your stay. For families and groups especially, having therapists come to the villa can be far easier than transporting everyone across Seminyak at night.

End Your Bali Day the Relaxing Way

There is something particularly satisfying about saving your massage until the end of the day.

You can swim, shop, explore Bali, watch the sunset and go out for dinner without watching the clock because you have a spa appointment at 3 pm. Then, once your feet are tired and your shoulders have officially had enough, you can finally do something about it.

Just choose your spa based on the treatment you actually want, check its latest appointment time and book ahead when possible.

Or make things even easier: stay in a private Seminyak villa, ask the Villa Finder team about arranging your holiday extras, and let the spa come to you.

Going from massage table to your own bed without encountering Seminyak traffic might be the most relaxing treatment of all.
