We love the French Alps for several reasons. In warmer months, the area is an excellent spot for hiking and camping. As snow starts to fall, the area transforms into a white winter wonderland. It’s one of the best holiday destinations for skiers and snowboarding enthusiasts. There are plenty of gorgeous ski chalets to boot! Choices are aplenty, but we have selected some of the best ski chalets in France below. Check them out!

While there are so many things to love about this ski chalet, the floor-to-ceiling door and window set is definitely one of the highlights. They take up a large portion of the wall, using the majestic nature outdoors as a priceless decorative element. This lovely winter holiday home has 4 bedrooms and can accommodate up to 10 people. There is another reason why we love Apartment Les Flocons 5 so much: there are plenty of fun appliances you can use on days you don’t want to visit the slope: Nespresso machine, grill stone, pancake maker, fondue appliance and more. Everything screams luxury and relaxation here!
3. Chalet Le 1550
Chalet Le 1550 gives you a cruel dilemma: should you spend the day skiing down the slopes and rolling in powdery snow, or should you stay indoors and make use of every single luxurious facility. Located in the charming village of Brigues, Chalet Le 1550 is a prime ski haven for families. Glorious panoramic vista is a given at any luxury ski chalet in the French Alps, but this holiday home is so much more than that. You will have your own gym, sauna, massage room and an infinity pool to complete the experience. The location is perfect for those who want to escape the hustle and bustle of the cities. It’s quiet, laidback, yet also has a fair share of good restaurants and luxury shops.
4. Chalet Carré Blanc 240
Sometimes, quality does not have to come with a high price tag, and Chalet Carré Blanc 240 is the epitome of that. We love it when a delightful stay comes at an affordable price. Apartment Sabaudia is a cosy 2-bedroom winter holiday rental tucked away in the heart of Megeve. While not gigantic in size, this ski chalet has everything you need for a fun holiday in the French Alps. During warmer months, it’s also a great base for hiring and exploring. The design is chic, and we love the use of colours here. The green wall adds a touch of character and brightness without being overwhelming. The location of Apartment Sabaudia is just as lovely. It’s close to the slopes, Megeve center and other quaint villages in the Alpen area.
