It certainly makes a nice and cool alternative to baking in the sun by the pool’s side or sheltering from a tropical rainstorm. Cinema XXI
The nearest cinema from central Seminyak is located in The Beachwalk shopping mall in central Kuta. The XXI Cinema is found on the second floor of this stylish alang alang roofed building and it features 3 movie studios. Two of them are large cinema rooms and one is a classy 50-seat Premiere studio with business class chairs, blankets and a special lounge room. The XXI cinema plays the latest blockbuster movies and it has all the facilities a cinema should have, only it is a whole lot cheaper than what you are used to at home.

Cinemaxx Lippo Mall
The Cinemaxx Bioskop is located in the basement of Lippo Mall in the Tuban area of Kuta. This particular cinema is the only one in Bali showing 3D movies, which makes it worth the extra kilometer to get there. Also, the Balinale Film Festival is held here every year in September or October, showing feature films, premieres, short movies and documentaries. The Cinemaxx cinema has multiple film studios as well as a Gold studio for those wanting to sit in deluxe business class chairs and enjoy catering service during the movie.

Lunaplex private cinema
Lunaplex is an underground, Bond-like private cinema located in the Luna2 Studiotel in the heart of Seminyak.
This ultra plush, 16 seat cinema, shows three movies a day. Lunaplex Private Cinema comes with full catering service, super comfy lounge chairs, tables and a great collection of the latest hit movies as well as the old time classics. Guests can just press the button to order drinks and snacks. Lunaplex Private Cinema is located in a hotel and can be rented out for private showings and events.
