They are beautiful malls with branded fashion stores and boutique shops where you can just keep on shopping without dropping, and all that, in air-conditioned comfort, out of the tropical sun. In fact, on Oberoi Road, one of Seminyak’s most beloved shopping and dining streets, there is a flea market right next to Seminyak Square and Seminyak Village, two must-visit shopping malls in Seminyak. So go on, girls, it is time for some guilt-free shopping on paradise island.

3. Sunset cocktails

Ahhh, yes! The best vibes are found on the beach, just before and long after the mesmerizing Island Sunset. Around 4 pm in the afternoon, the beach bars on Double Six Beach drag all their colourful bean bags and parasols out on the sands. Good music, tropical cocktails, snacks, great company, astonishing views of an orange-glazed sky – holidaying doesn’t get better than this! Bali’s world-famous sunsets are happening only once a day, try and catch them all if you can.

4. Surfing

Surfing is a must-try activity on your girl’s trip to Seminyak. It is super fun to spend a day out on the waves with the tips, tricks and guidance of a local surf teacher. You’ll be surprised at how fast you’ll be standing on your board with a bit of help. After all of this hard work, sit down for an ice cold drink in the shade of some beach trees and wait for the sunset to strike once again. Wonder where to go for surfing lessons? Where to eat

There are so many excellent restaurants found in Seminyak, that it is hard to decide where to go for dinner. Let’s think again – for a girl’ night out, what would be the place to be? How about…

1. LacaLaca Cantina Mexicana

Sitting just around the corner from Oberoi Road on Jalan Drupadi, this Mexican Restaurant catches your eye with its charming garden, lots of colourful lights and cosy sitting places. The food is excellent – very tasty – but the greatest thing at this particular restaurant is the amazing cocktails and the Sangria. How about a jalapeno-infused margarita? Do you dare? Be there on Sunday before sunset for the Bloody Marry cocktail feast and Monday evenings to score some more 2 x 1 cocktails. You can be sure that they’re pretty darn tasty and if you are into avocados, melted cheese burritos, taco chips with salsa and more of this Mexican goodness… Laca Laca Cantina Mexicana in Seminyak is heaven on earth.

2. La Lucciola

This restaurant is so much-loved among tourists and expats, that it doesn’t even have a website – they don’t need it. La Lucciola serves excellent authentic Italian cuisine to die for, complete with an Asian touch, and all of that, right on the beach in Petitenget. You girls have to eat here at least once during your holiday to Bali Island. The chef is an authentic Italian and the restaurant is tucked in a beautiful traditional thatched pavilion with indoor and outdoor dining tables.

3. Ryoshi

This is the perfect restaurant for hours of munching, chatting and fun. Especially on Monday evenings, this restaurant promises a great night out. Be sure to book yourselves a table upstairs, preferably a traditional Japanese-style floor table with cushions, and plan this dinner date a bit late in the evening, around 20.00. You can take it nice and slow, ordering several rounds of sushi for at around 21.30, an amazing live jazz band starts to play their gig and it is awesome! Usually, the first set feature nice jazz songs for dining and drinking and after the break, it turns into one big party upstairs at Ryoshi Seminyak. Don’t miss out on the opportunity!
