Pod chocolate opened its doors back in 2013 and produces handmade organic chocolate. The Pod chocolate farm is located at the Bali Elephant Camp in the village of Carangsari, close to Ubud. Here, you can experience a real Charlie-in-the-Chocolate-Factory experience! The tour starts with a chocolate shot, continues with a trip to the chocolate farm and factory and it ends with an amazing chocolate tasting session. You also get to make your own chocolate elephant. Kids will love it! The full tour costs Rp. 300,000 for kids and Rp. 400,000 for adults, including transport from your private villa. Big Tree Farms
Big Tree Farms is the biggest organic cacao & coconut sugar exporter in Indonesia, opening its doors back in 2013. Today, there are over 14,000 Indonesian farmers working here, including 400 cacao producers. This organic food paradise is also located near Ubud and it is tucked in the world’s largest commercial bamboo structure. Big Tree Farms Chocolate is sweetened with organic coconut palm sugar, making it not only delicious but also healthy. Go on a 1-hour chocolate tour with the whole family! The tour starts with a delicious Coco Mojo drink, followed by an insider’s look into how these delicious treats are made. The tour is held Monday to Friday at 2 PM, costing Rp. 40,000 per person with reservation. You can also book a private tour for Rp. 120,000 per person.
